About This Blog
I'm an American who started blogging when I moved to Russia in 2004. Eventually I moved to Sweden, where life is pleasant but uneventful, and stopped blogging for lack of interesting things to say.
In January 2011 I resumed with a new gimmick: posting one photo per day with a caption in each of the languages I pretend to speak: English, Swedish, Russian, and Esperanto.
I'll try to do it for a year. It will be a good exercise in translation as well as in finding something special in each ordinary day or some such new-age crap. :-)

When I was a child we had a cat like that – the tip of its tongue would just poke out when she was asleep. It was quite endearing to look at.
