Someone heard my cry for Peeps! My friend Kevin sent Peeps, and a whole bunch of other stuff, including some nostalgia-inducing Nader 2000 memorabilia (we know each other from working on the campaign) and paper dolls of Jenna and Barbara Bush. This is the first care package I’ve gotten in, like, forever. Kevin gets a package of weird Swedish stuff in return.
What-all Kevin sent me. Those are my feet.

Dear Megan,
The big question that comes to my mind now is whether you have started your own Dala horse collection yet. ;)
Yours,

No! Do you know how expensive those things are? And one kind of grows tired of looking at them after living in Dalarna County for awhile. But I’ve been to the Dala horse factory a few times now; it’s pretty cool.

Okay, not only have I not updated my blog in forever BUT I forgot about your Peep quest. American treats coming…soon. Eventually from me, promise.

He sent you some new feet? That’s so thoughtful!
Oh, the wacky garbage we crave when we’re abroad.

Those sort of presents are the best though. My friend who lives in Bergen sent me some old art gallery catalogues, a programme from the jazz festival and some random postcards. It was brilliant, much better than official tourist stuff.
